The PHCA office gets a lot of inquiries from people hoping to find apartments, houses, or commercial space in Polish Hill. Unfortunately, we don’t have a list of rentals or properties for sale. There are a few reasons for this, primarily that there simply isn’t much available at any given time — this is a very small neighborhood, with little turnover. Adding to the demand, Polish Hill has become a desirable neighborhood, so more people are looking here.
Apartments
The best source for up-to-date listings on apartment rentals (and sometimes, houses for sale) in Polish Hill is on Craigslist — that’s where we look to see what’s available. Use “Polish Hill” as a search term.
Houses
The few houses that do come on the market usually sell very quickly. Check with local real estate agents to find out if any properties are available in the neighborhood. If anyone asks us to post their house, we would do that here.
Commercial spaces
There is very little commercial space in the neighborhood center. Most of the former storefronts were rezoned as residential in recent decades. Most of the commercial property in Polish Hill is on the industrial edges of the neighborhood, along Liberty Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. As with houses, your best bet is to check with a local real estate agent.
If you do have a property that you are renting or would like to sell, we would be happy to post it on this page and at our office. Contact the Polish Hill Civic Association by email, or call 412-681-1950.
