We got over forty entries in the birdhouse contest, and the winners will be announced at the community meeting in two weeks. But you don’t need to wait until then to see the birdhouses; on Sunday, members of the monument committee and neighborhood volunteers hung them on the community tree. Now, the tree is dressed for spring. Just in time too; those snowflakes were looking very odd in 70-degree weather.
Many thanks to Janice Heagy, Deb Jozwiak, Jeannie Kowalecki, Terry Doloughty, and John “Ducky” McClure for their time. The tree looks great!
