Tree pruning in Polish Hill on Sunday March 11
If you’d like to learn a little more about tree pruning, stop by as the Tree Tenders come to Polish Hill to take care of the street trees. A number of new trees have been planted throughout Polish Hill, and they’re in need of pruning to help them grow tall and true. Due to the technical knowledge required for proper tree pruning, only graduates of the Tree Tenders program may register for this event. But anyone is welcome to come out, watch, and learn.
Meet at the PHCA office at 3060 Brereton Street at 10:00 a.m. If you are a Tree Tender and wish to register to help prune, please CLICK HERE. For more info on this event, contact jake@treepittsburgh.org

Polish Hill is a small neighborhood nestled on the steep hillside between the Hill District and the Strip District. Minutes away from the activity of downtown Pittsburgh, our front porches and doorsteps line quiet residential streets. Stop in to find out what is happening in this small, lively community.
