Food in Our Neighborhoods: an educational event to foster sustainable communities around food
On Saturday March 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Chatham University presents Food in Our Neighborhoods – Bridging, Growing & Nourishing, a networking and educational event to foster sustainable communities around food. The event includes
* Morning workshops with guest speakers from Puget Sound Food Network; Karp Associates, and more
* Breakout sessions and locally-sourced lunch
* Afternoon exhibits – community foodscapes featuring cooks, chefs, community groups, businesses and more
The fee is $10 (covers food costs) and you can register online. The event will be held at Chatham University Shadyside Campus in the Athletic & Fitness Center.
