United Way campaign

It's that time of year! United Way of Allegheny County is beginning their campaign for donations to your favorite local organizations. And we know that PHCA is your favorite organization! So, to save you some time looking through that pesky list, Polish Hill Civic Association's organization number is 258. Easy to remember, easy to do! And thank you for your support. We appreciate it.

Earth Day Polish Hill neighborhood cleanup

We saw a record number of volunteers at the spring neighborhood clean-up. Over thirty people showed up to help give Polish Hill a spring cleaning. Volunteers cleared trash, bottles, knotweed, and assorted odd and disgusting items, filling dozens of trash and recycling bags. The mayor stopped by the PHCA office for a few minutes to say hello and accept thanks for the new trash cans.

Our fine neighborhood is much cleaner now. We extend a hearty thank-you to everyone who gave part of this beautiful sunny Saturday to make Polish Hill a prettier place.
